The festive season for us so far has included: Hampton Court outdoor ice skating, work parties, tree decorating, film watching, Winter Wonderland, beer, friends, more beer, actually lots and lots more beer, and spontaneous nights out with lots of amazing friends! Here are a few photos from the last couple of weeks.

I have wanted these free runs for ageeeeeeeeeeees. Then we finally started stocking them at work. I went to order them online one morning, and then went into the stock room and we had them come in that morning's delivery! Best thing ever. So I finally got them, and with my discount. It was a good day.

Last weekend Tom and I went to Budapest for the weekend. We had an amazing time, lots of sightseeing, amazing food, beer, champagne, spas and massages. To top it all off, whilst taking photos of the gorgeous Budapest sky line at dusk, from within a turret of a fairy tale castle, Tom knelt behind me poised with the most stunning ring I have ever seen. When I turned round, I had the best surprise of my life as he asked me to marry him. Obviously saying "yes" couldn't have been easier! When we got back to the hotel there was a bottle of champagne and 12 red roses waiting for me, followed by a meal at one of Budapest's best restaurants. I don't think I have stopped smiling since. This has now made Budapest one of my all time favourite places, and I would recommend it to anyone.

A couple of months ago these suede blue Nike air max 90s were returned to work. Perfectly they are in Tom's size. At the time they were still full price, at 95GBP. On Monday I was reading a report and noticed they had been reduced to 40, which meant 30 GBP with my discount. I purchased them straight away. Now I just wish we had the same size feet, as I desperately want to borrow them.
Good bargains come to those who wait, clearly.

Today I took Tom to Hampton Court Palace. He's never been before, but it's one of my all time favourite places. I love Tudor history, especially anything to do with Anne Boleyn. Therefore coming back to this place time and time again is always such a pleasure. Especially when the person you take loves history too!

I found this bargain jacket at the weekend mixed in with the Topshop sale. Only 20 pounds reduced from 70. It's a size 16 and very oversized, but that's how I like all my clothes. The only issue is that it's very very white. We shall see how long that lasts.

Me and Rosie went on a spontaneous trip into Compton today, which is in Surrey, and very far from the ghetto. We had tea and cakes, it was all very English and lovely. It was raining a lot today so I dressed as comfy as possible. I also came across a load of old jewellery this morning, including a Vivienne Westwood bracelet, Tiffany necklace and my great grandmother's engagement ring, which has inspired me to make more of an effort with my accessories!

For the last couple of days I have been working in our flagship store, Oxford Circus, to update mannequins with new season styling. Below is a little insight of what we achieved. The designer section is like paradise, and I could have easily parted with a few hundred pounds in seconds. Pairing it with UO own buy makes everything look completely beautiful. Now I just need to win the lottery. Although, firstly I need to play the lottery.
