I have managed to settle in at home quite quickly. After arriving on Saturday I managed to have everything unpacked and in it's place by Sunday! The organisation in my room makes me very happy. Everything has it's place. Here are a few photos from my room, more will follow!

Apologies in advance. I hate blogs with lots of writing, but I felt this completely necessary.

This Saturday I'm moving back down south. I got a job promotion, an offer of no rent/bills and home cooked meals. Who could refuse. Sheffield has been my home for the past 4.5 years, a lot has happened during this time. I began by living in Crookes (proceeded to move 4 times) and ended a few houses down on the same road in Crookes, how poetic. As the title of this post would indicate I have a few thank you's.

Thank you to the friends and family who supported and assisted my move to Sheffield from Sydney in 2008. And to all those supporting me now with this one.

Thank you to the people who entered my life whilst in Sheffield. To the ones who I no longer have contact with, thank you for showing me all the qualities I never want in a friend. To the ones still in my life, thank you for showing me exactly what a friend is and inspiring me to be more like you. Thank you for being family and not just talking the talk.

Thank you to a particular organisation with a heavy influence in my life for 3 of my years in Sheffield, thank you for the opportunities and experiences you gave me- these have moulded me into the person I am today. To the leaders of said organisation, thank you for your ungracious actions. Your unkind words only served to make my decision of leaving your creation final. And as a result finding true freedom and LIFE.

Thank you to the people who decided the person they knew me to be didn't fit with the description portrayed or the propaganda. Thank you for taking time to ask my story, for fighting my corner as small as it may have been.

Thank you to the people of St Thomas' Church Crookes. Thank you for not living under pharisaical laws. The love in your hearts and the grace you walk in is inspirational. Thank you for showing me the heart is more important than the exterior. Something which had slowly faded over the previous 3 years.

Thank you to India Roberts. Your friendship is the most important thing to me.

I'm not a fan of throwing my faith in people's faces, but it wouldn't be right to not thank the one I'm most thankful to for my time in Sheffield, and that is God. Thank you for showing me who you really are, not who someone else says you are. Thank you that your words and your grace are higher than that of any person. And thank you for not letting any of the words spoken over me hold any significance in my life.

Thank you Sheffield, it's been beautiful.

In the spirit of all things love and Valentines me and Tom had a date. Plus it was a year ago on February 19th that we met for the first time, such things need to be celebrated! We went out to Loch Fyne for an amazing meal, which included Tom's first oyster experience. We then walked down to The Old House for cocktails and to do some serious people watching. It was a bitter sweet experience as this is my last weekend in Sheffield before moving back down south, still, a completely amazing night, as always.

I hope everyone else had a beautiful Valentines day and are now feeling considerably loved.

A girl who says "I don't want anything for valentines day" is lying, (in my opinion). Your other half should shower you in love every day, but why not surprise them with something special, even if they have insisted "no really, I don't want anything." Join in the commercial fun as the world celebrates love. Don't be a hater.

I just entered the River Island and Company street styled competition. If nothing else it was fun to take some photos with my lovely friend Elly.

A glimpse into our French holiday 2008

Despite the 12 year old cult following, I am still a sucker for our dear friend Jack Wills. Given it's only for loungewear and pajamas, but still, can't get enough.
